Meaning:

Usage: By promising both lower taxes and raise the defense budget, the president has painted into a corner.

Malapropism

(Kinda figure of speech... I ll get under what kinda classification it comes soon.. ;) )


This is the hilarious world of malapropism, verbal slips and gaffes. We all know that when someone misuses a word, the result can induce hysterics, unless of course it is we who have made the blunder, n which case embarrassment is the likely effect. When an incorrect word is used, a malpropism is born.
