The verb set up, on the other hand, is usually found as an open compound (two words, no hyphen) in both American and British English.


Two words as a verb, one word as an adjective and a noun. Don't hyphenate. Capitalize Setup when it refers to the Setup program. Unpack everything before you set up your computer

Malapropism

(Kinda figure of speech... I ll get under what kinda classification it comes soon.. ;) )


This is the hilarious world of malapropism, verbal slips and gaffes. We all know that when someone misuses a word, the result can induce hysterics, unless of course it is we who have made the blunder, n which case embarrassment is the likely effect. When an incorrect word is used, a malpropism is born.
